Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature, accurately.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to ensure their safety.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team regarding patient status.
- Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized patient environment.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as necessary.
- Report any changes in a patient's condition or behavior immediately to the nursing staff.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Willingness to obtain a state CNA certification (we support training for the right candidates).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with compassion and attention to detail.
- Reliable transportation and flexibility to work various shifts (days, nights, weekends).
- Basic computer literacy for documentation purposes.
