Your Role as a CNA:
You will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. We are looking for individuals who are eager to learn and dedicated to providing the highest quality of service.
Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Vital Signs: Monitor and record patient vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rate.
- Communication: Effectively communicate changes in patient condition to the nursing staff and physicians.
- Hygiene & Safety: Ensure patient rooms are clean, safe, and comfortable while adhering to infection control protocols.
- Assistance: Help patients with mobility, transferring, and walking using assistive devices when necessary.
- Documentation: Accurately complete and maintain patient charts and care logs in a timely manner.
- Meal Assistance: Serve meals and assist patients with eating as needed.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Certification: Current Oklahoma CNA license or eligibility to obtain licensure.
- Experience: No prior nursing experience required; however, prior healthcare experience is a plus.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and typing skills.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, lift, and bend for extended periods; ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Soft Skills: Compassionate nature, patience, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
- CPR: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred but willing to train.
