Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Assist with mobility by using wheelchairs, walkers, or hoyer lifts safely.
- Prepare and serve meals according to patient dietary needs.
- Document patient care activities accurately in electronic health records.
- Report any changes in a patient's condition to the nursing staff immediately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation (preferred for home health roles).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to obtain CNA certification or willingness to learn through our training program.
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus but not mandatory.
