Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse rates.
- Assist patients with mobility and transfer from beds to wheelchairs or walkers.
- Respond promptly to patient calls and requests for assistance.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Document patient care activities and changes in condition accurately.
- Communicate effectively with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare team members.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license preferred, but we offer training for candidates with a strong desire to learn.
- Valid CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital setting with a positive attitude.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift patients as needed.
