Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Support patients with mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics.
- Prepare patients for medical examinations and treatments.
- Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe patient environment.
- Communicate patient status and needs effectively to the nursing staff.
- Document patient care activities accurately in medical records.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Must be willing to undergo a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Basic computer literacy is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
- Compassionate, patient-centered attitude with a desire to help others.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
