Responsibilities
- Provide basic patient care as directed by nursing staff, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
- Monitor patient health and report any changes or abnormalities to the Registered Nurse immediately.
- Assist with patient mobility, transfers, and positioning to prevent falls and discomfort.
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely in electronic health records.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and supervised.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Kansas CNA license.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care setting is preferred but not required.
