Responsibilities
- Provide personalized assistance with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
- Monitor and document vital signs, nutritional intake, and resident observations
- Assist with medication administration under nursing supervision
- Transport residents to medical appointments and social activities
- Maintain clean, sanitized environments following infection control protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop resident care plans
- Respond promptly to resident call lights and emergency situations
Qualifications
- Active Ohio CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 6 months of long-term care or assisted living experience
- Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Clear background check and negative TB/health screening
- Proficiency in electronic health record documentation
- Strong communication skills and empathy for elderly residents
