Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor and document patient vital signs, intake/output, and behavioral changes
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding while respecting dietary restrictions
- Perform light housekeeping duties and maintain clean patient environments
- Collaborate with RNs and medical staff to ensure coordinated care plans
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergency situations
- Utilize electronic health records for accurate documentation
Qualifications
- Active Pennsylvania CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of recent clinical experience in long-term care or hospital setting
- Current CPR/BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Clear criminal background check and negative TB test results
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts
