Your Role as a CNA
You will be the vital link between our patients and the medical team, ensuring comfort, safety, and dignity for every individual under your care.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene assistance.
- Monitor and accurately record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Assist patients with mobility issues, utilizing proper body mechanics and transfer equipment.
- Prepare and serve meals, ensuring dietary restrictions are respected.
- Communicate changes in patient condition to registered nurses and physicians promptly.
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized patient environment to prevent infection.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Oregon.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Previous experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
