Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care assistance to patients including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately in medical records
- Assist with daily living activities and maintain a safe, clean environment
- Collaborate with RNs and healthcare team to implement individualized care plans
- Transport patients safely within the facility for procedures and activities
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergency situations
- Support emotional well-being through active listening and patient engagement
Qualifications
- Current North CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year experience in long-term care or hospital setting
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Attention to detail and accurate documentation abilities
- Pass criminal background check and drug screening
