Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
- Assist patients with mobility issues, including transfers and ambulation using proper body mechanics.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and patient needs.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients and staff.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team regarding patient conditions and needs.
Qualifications
- Current Washington State CNA license (or eligibility to obtain) required.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Ability to lift and assist patients weighing up to 250 lbs.
