Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily activities including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Take vital signs and document resident observations accurately
- Support nurses with medication administration and treatment procedures
- Maintain clean and safe resident environments
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
- Participate in care planning meetings with healthcare teams
- Report changes in resident condition to nursing staff promptly
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- No prior experience required (training provided)
- Ability to obtain Tennessee CNA certification within 90 days
- Basic computer skills for documentation
- Physical ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Pass background check and drug screening
