Responsibilities
- Provide basic patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist patients with mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions.
- Document patient care activities accurately in electronic health records.
- Respond promptly to patient calls and emergency situations.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Current CNA certification preferred, but no experience required for qualified applicants.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift patients (up to 50 lbs).
- Basic computer literacy.
- Willingness to complete mandatory training programs.
- CPR certification is a plus.
