Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming) to elderly residents
- Assist with mobility transfers, ambulation, and range-of-motion exercises
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in residents' conditions to nursing staff
- Prepare and serve meals while accommodating dietary restrictions
- Document care activities accurately in electronic health records
- Maintain clean, safe resident environments and infection control protocols
- Participate in care planning meetings and interdisciplinary team collaboration
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- No prior healthcare experience necessary (training provided)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Valid CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
