Responsibilities

  • Provide direct, compassionate patient care under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.
  • Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Transport patients to and from treatment areas, operating wheelchairs and stretchers safely.
  • Document patient care activities, symptoms, and progress in electronic health records accurately and timely.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment in accordance with hospital hygiene standards.

Qualifications

  • Current and valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license issued by the state of California.
