Responsibilities
- Provide Direct Patient Care: Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, ensuring their dignity and comfort are maintained.
- Vital Signs Monitoring: Accurately measure and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates.
- Assist with Mobility: Help patients move, transfer, and reposition safely using proper body mechanics to prevent injury.
- Hygiene and Infection Control: Maintain a clean, sanitized environment and adhere to strict infection control protocols to ensure patient safety.
- Communication: Communicate patient status changes and concerns to nurses and physicians immediately and effectively.
- Documentation: Complete accurate and timely documentation of care provided in electronic health records.
Qualifications
- Valid CNA License: Must hold a current, unencumbered Certified Nursing Assistant license in the state of Arizona.
- High School Diploma: Must possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- CPR Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
