Job Overview
As a CNA, you will provide essential care to patients in a fast-paced, high-quality healthcare environment. You will work closely with our nursing staff to ensure the highest standard of patient safety and comfort.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, and pulse.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper techniques.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and patient needs.
- Document patient care activities and changes in condition accurately in electronic medical records (EMR).
- Respond promptly to patient calls and assist with personal hygiene needs.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
Qualifications
- Current and active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Missouri.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care setting is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move patients safely.
- Compassionate demeanor with a strong commitment to patient advocacy.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
