Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse rates.
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Prepare and serve meals according to specific dietary restrictions and nutritional plans.
- Document patient care plans, symptoms, and progress reports accurately and timely.
- Communicate effectively with registered nurses, physicians, and family members regarding patient status.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for all patients and visitors.
- Perform basic wound care and specimen collection as directed by nursing staff.
Qualifications
- Valid and active CNA certification issued by the State of California.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical stamina to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
- Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help patients.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
