Responsibilities
- Patient Assistance: Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Vital Signs Monitoring: Accurately measure and record patient vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Hygiene & Comfort: Ensure patients remain clean, comfortable, and in a safe environment at all times.
- Communication: Serve as a liaison between patients, families, and medical staff, reporting changes in patient condition immediately.
- Mobility Support: Assist patients with walking, transferring, and positioning to prevent falls and injury.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient care logs and reports.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to call lights and emergency situations following protocol.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- CNA Certification: Current California CNA license (or willingness to obtain one quickly).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift, push, and pull patients weighing up to 250 lbs.
- Compassion: Genuine desire to help others and demonstrate empathy.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to follow strict medical protocols and safety guidelines.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
