Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance
- Monitor and record vital signs, patient conditions, and care documentation
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding while monitoring dietary needs
- Support patients with daily living activities and emotional well-being
- Collaborate with nursing staff to implement individualized care plans
- Maintain clean and safe patient environments following infection control protocols
- Transport patients safely within facility for procedures and activities
Qualifications
- Current Texas CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 6 months of recent CNA experience preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Physical ability to lift patients and stand for extended periods
- Compassionate attitude with commitment to patient dignity
- Reliable transportation and flexible availability
