Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor and record vital signs, patient intake/output, and other health metrics
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to prevent bedsores
- Support healthcare professionals during examinations and treatments
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and medical records
- Ensure patient rooms are clean, sanitized, and well-stocked
- Report any changes in patient condition to nursing staff promptly
Qualifications
- Active Florida CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of recent CNA experience in acute care or long-term setting
- Current CPR/BLS certification from an accredited provider
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Completion of TB screening and health assessment
- Valid Florida driver's license (for facility transportation needs)
