Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Monitor and record vital signs (BP, temp, O2 levels)
- Assist with mobility transfers and ambulation
- Administer prescribed medications under supervision
- Document patient care accurately in EMR systems
- Collaborate with RNs and therapists on care plans
- Maintain strict infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Active California CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year acute/skilled nursing experience
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Strong documentation skills (EMR proficiency)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds with proper techniques
- Clear TB test and physical exam
- CA driver's license preferred
- Spanish bilingual skills a plus
