Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
- Monitor vital signs and document residents' health status accurately
- Assist with medication administration under nursing supervision
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop individualized care plans
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents
- Respond promptly to resident needs and emergency situations
- Participate in interdisciplinary care conferences and training sessions
Qualifications
- Current Illinois CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year long-term care experience preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and documentation abilities
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays consistently
- Pass background check and health screening
