Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor residents' health status and report any changes or concerns to the nursing staff immediately.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering a warm and engaging atmosphere.
- Assist with meal preparation and ensure residents adhere to their dietary restrictions.
- Document care activities and vital signs accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for residents.
Qualifications
- Current State of New Mexico CNA Certification required.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification through the American Heart Association.
- Previous experience in long-term care or a similar healthcare setting preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
