Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Monitor and document vital signs, intake/output, and patient condition changes
- Assist with medication administration under RN supervision
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams for holistic patient support
- Maintain HIPAA-compliant medical records and documentation
- Support patient emotional well-being through therapeutic communication
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Active California CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year acute care or long-term experience preferred
- Current BLS/CPR certification (AHA)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for 8+ hours
- Clear TB test and physical exam within last 6 months
- Proficiency in EHR systems (experience with Epic preferred)
- Strong communication skills with diverse populations
