Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming) to elderly residents
- Monitor vital signs and document patient health changes
- Assist with mobility transfers and use of adaptive equipment
- Administer medications under RN supervision per protocol
- Maintain clean, safe resident environments and infection control standards
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop care plans
Qualifications
- Current California CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year long-term care experience preferred
- Valid CPR/BLS certification
- Clear TB test and background check
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds with proper techniques
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Compassionate approach to geriatric care
