Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Monitor and document vital signs, intake/output, and patient observations
- Assist with therapeutic activities and rehabilitation exercises
- Collaborate with RNs on patient care plans and interventions
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control protocols
- Support emotional and psychosocial needs of patients and families
- Utilize electronic health records for accurate documentation
Qualifications
- Active Nebraska CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 6 months acute care or hospital experience
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
