Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Assist with mobility transfers and use of adaptive equipment
- Support patients with daily living activities in a dignified manner
- Collaborate with nursing staff to implement care plans
- Maintain clean, safe patient environments
- Report changes in patient condition promptly to RNs
Qualifications
- Active Nebraska CNA certification required
- Minimum 6 months recent CNA experience preferred
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with proper technique
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable transportation for multiple Omaha locations
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
