Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist with mobility issues, including transferring patients to and from beds and wheelchairs.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and medical staff regarding patient status and needs.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR).
- Respond promptly to patient calls and requests for assistance.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license valid in the state of Washington.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification required.
- Previous experience in a hospital, nursing home, or home health setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull patients up to 50 lbs safely.
- Clean criminal background check and drug screen required.
- Compassionate demeanor with a commitment to patient dignity and respect.
