Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to ensure resident safety and prevent falls.
- Communicate changes in patient condition and report concerns to the Charge Nurse or Nursing Supervisor promptly.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation in accordance with facility policies.
- Participate in care planning meetings and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver holistic care.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered CNA certification (or state license) required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is preferred.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate demeanor.
- Ability to lift and move patients safely (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Commitment to HIPAA privacy regulations and infection control protocols.
