Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Measure and record vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration)
- Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support to residents
- Maintain clean and safe patient environments following infection control protocols
- Document patient observations accurately and timely in electronic health records
- Collaborate with nurses and healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergency situations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must pass criminal background check and pre-employment health screening
- Valid Kansas CNA certification (or willingness to obtain through our training program)
- Basic computer literacy for documentation systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to lift patients and stand for extended periods
- Compassionate attitude with genuine desire to help others
- Reliable transportation to various shift locations
