Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense and verify prescription medications following state and federal regulations
- Manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and maintaining stock levels
- Process insurance claims and assist patients with medication inquiries
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and confidential patient records
- Collaborate with pharmacists to optimize medication therapy management
- Operate pharmacy software and automated dispensing systems
- Provide exceptional customer service and patient education
Qualifications
- Active Oklahoma Pharmacy Technician certification
- Minimum 1 year retail or hospital pharmacy experience
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws and medication safety protocols
- Proficiency in pharmacy management software (e.g., QS1, Rx30)
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
