Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense medications and verify prescriptions under pharmacist supervision
- Manage inventory, including ordering, stocking, and conducting cycle counts
- Process insurance claims and resolve billing discrepancies
- Provide exceptional customer service and medication counseling
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and strict confidentiality standards
- Utilize pharmacy software (e.g., QS1, Omnicell) for record-keeping
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure patient safety
Qualifications
- Active Oklahoma Pharmacy Technician certification (PTCB or ExCPT)
- 1+ years of retail or hospital pharmacy experience
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology and drug interactions
- Proficiency in pharmacy management systems and MS Office
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Valid Oklahoma driver's license (for delivery routes)
- Background check and drug screen required
