Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense prescription medications under pharmacist supervision
- Manage inventory and ordering of pharmaceutical supplies
- Process insurance claims and patient billing
- Provide medication counseling to customers
- Maintain accurate patient records and HIPAA compliance
- Collaborate with healthcare providers on medication therapy
- Operate pharmacy management software (e.g., QS/1, Omnicell)
Qualifications
- Active California Pharmacy Technician license
- 1+ years retail pharmacy experience
- PTCB or ExCPT certification required
- Strong knowledge of drug interactions and contraindications
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 25 lbs
- Proficiency in pharmacy technology systems
- Background check and drug screening clearance
