Responsibilities
- Accurately prepare and dispense prescription medications under pharmacist supervision
- Manage prescription processing workflow including data entry and verification
- Provide medication counseling and answer patient inquiries regarding usage and side effects
- Maintain inventory control, including ordering, receiving, and stock rotation
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations
- Operate pharmacy management systems and automated dispensing equipment
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to resolve prescription issues
Qualifications
- Current Oklahoma Pharmacy Technician certification required
- Minimum 1 year of retail/hospital pharmacy experience
- Strong knowledge of prescription medications and pharmaceutical terminology
- Proficiency in pharmacy management software (e.g., QS1, Omnicell)
- Excellent attention to detail and mathematical accuracy
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Valid Oklahoma driver's license and reliable transportation
- Basic computer skills with ability to learn new technologies quickly
