Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense and verify medications according to prescription orders and state regulations
- Manage inventory control, including ordering, stocking, and conducting cycle counts
- Process insurance claims and resolve billing discrepancies efficiently
- Provide exceptional customer service and medication counseling to patients
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Collaborate with pharmacists on clinical services and medication therapy management
- Ensure strict compliance with HIPAA and pharmacy safety protocols
Qualifications
- Active Oregon Pharmacy Technician certification required
- Minimum 1 year of retail/hospital pharmacy experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of FDA medication safety guidelines
- Proficiency in pharmacy management systems (e.g., QS1, Omnicell)
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Valid CPR certification or willingness to obtain
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
