Responsibilities
- Provide basic patient care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and accurately record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist patients with mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics and safety equipment.
- Communicate changes in patient condition or behavior to the nursing staff immediately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for all residents and patients.
- Support patients with personal hygiene tasks and meal assistance.
- Document daily care activities and intake/output records.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid CNA Certification (or be willing to obtain one through our sponsorship program).
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift patients for extended periods.
- A compassionate, patient-focused attitude and a desire to help others.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
