Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Assist with mobility transfers and maintain patient safety protocols
- Collaborate with nursing staff to implement individualized care plans
- Maintain clean and organized patient environments
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergency situations
- Support emotional well-being through patient interaction and active listening
Qualifications
- Active Indiana CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 6 months of recent CNA experience in long-term care or hospital settings
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication skills and empathy for elderly patients
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
- Proficiency with electronic health record documentation systems
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance record
