Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and patient positioning
- Support nurses with medical equipment and supplies management
- Maintain clean, sanitized patient environments
- Communicate patient needs and changes effectively to healthcare team
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and hospital protocols
Qualifications
- Active Florida CNA certification (or CA certification for CA positions)
- Minimum 1 year acute care or hospital experience
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts including weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening
