Responsibilities
- Provide direct, hands-on patient care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse) accurately and timely.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to ensure safety and prevent falls.
- Collaborate with the nursing team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment in accordance with facility standards.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and medical staff regarding patient conditions.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Texas CNA Certification required.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in a long-term care or hospital setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
