Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality personal care and assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) to residents.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rate.
- Assist with patient mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper body mechanics and equipment.
- Administer medication as prescribed and document all treatments and observations accurately.
- Collaborate with the nursing team to develop and update individualized care plans.
- Respond promptly to call lights and assist with emergencies in a calm and professional manner.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for all patients.
Qualifications
- Current and active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Texas.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Previous experience in a long-term care or home health setting preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Physical ability to lift, stand, and walk for extended periods.
- Compassionate demeanor with a genuine passion for patient care.
- Reliable transportation and ability to pass a background check.
