Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Document patient care plans, symptoms, progress, and changes in condition accurately.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and assist patients with eating.
- Transport patients to and from treatment areas using wheelchairs or stretchers.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patient care.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license currently active in the state of Florida.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
- Previous experience in a hospital, nursing home, or home health setting is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift patients (up to 50 lbs) as needed.
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented approach to patient care.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced healthcare environment.
