Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Move patients safely using wheelchairs, walkers, or hoyer lifts as required.
- Prepare and serve meals while strictly adhering to dietary restrictions.
- Assist nurses and medical staff with basic medical procedures and accurate charting.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patient care at all times.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Valid CNA certification preferred, but no prior experience is required for this position.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented nature.
- Willingness to complete comprehensive on-the-job training.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
