Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature.
- Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding for patients with dietary needs.
- Turn and reposition bedridden patients to prevent pressure ulcers.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Communicate patient status and concerns to the nursing staff.
- Document daily care activities accurately in electronic medical records.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
- Current Texas State CNA license.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Strong compassion, empathy, and patience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift patients for extended periods.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
