Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor patient health status by observing symptoms, reactions, and treatments.
- Provide basic bedside care and support to patients in various healthcare settings.
- Turn, reposition, and transfer patients to prevent bedsores and ensure comfort.
- Document patient care services, including changes in patient condition, in accordance with company policies.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Texas CNA Certification.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required for entry-level positions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
