Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide compassionate personal care and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitized patient environment.
- Communicate effectively with RNs, LPNs, and physicians regarding patient status and care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by licensed nursing staff.
- Transport patients to and from treatment areas using appropriate equipment.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license active in the state of Texas.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification.
- Previous experience in a hospital, assisted living, or home health setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull patients up to 50 lbs.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
