Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
- Assist with medication administration under supervision per protocol
- Document patient care accurately and maintain electronic health records
- Support patient social engagement and recreational activities
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure holistic patient support
Qualifications
- Active North Carolina CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of long-term care or geriatric experience preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Excellent communication skills and compassion for elderly patients
- Reliable transportation and flexible availability
- Pass background check and drug screening
