Responsibilities
- Assist Patients with Daily Living: Provide compassionate care by assisting patients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
- Vital Signs Monitoring: Accurately measure and record patient vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Hygiene & Comfort: Ensure patients maintain high standards of personal hygiene and comfort throughout their stay.
- Safety & Mobility: Safely transfer patients using proper techniques and assist with mobility aids to prevent falls.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and logs of care provided.
- Communication: Effectively communicate patient needs and changes in condition to the nursing staff and families.
- Environment Maintenance: Keep patient rooms and common areas clean, organized, and sanitized.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Certification: Current state licensure as a CNA is required (or willingness to obtain certification through our partner programs).
- Experience: No prior experience required; we provide on-the-job training for qualified candidates.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and move patients and stand for extended periods.
- Compassion: Genuine passion for helping others and a patient-centered approach to care.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and able to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
