Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing support.
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes in a client's health condition to the RN or supervisor immediately.
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and medication reminders.
- Foster a warm, positive, and safe environment that promotes client independence and mental well-being.
- Document daily care logs and accurately update client records in accordance with company policies.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure holistic health management.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required, valid in the state of Oklahoma.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Previous experience in home health or long-term care is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients of all ages.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of assisting patients with mobility and transferring.
