Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates accurately.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure safety and comfort.
- Communicate patient status and changes in condition to the nursing staff and physicians promptly.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and individual patient needs.
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized patient environment.
- Document all care activities and patient interactions in the electronic medical record system.
Qualifications
- Current and valid State Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is preferred.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care setting is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient dignity.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
